Jebel Ali Village Nursery, Meadows

Jebel Ali Village Nursery Meadows is a private nursery for children six weeks to four years of age located in The Meadows, Dubai.

The Jebel Ali Village Nurseries group is one of the oldest in Dubai – its first nursery was established in 1977. The Meadows branch was opened in 2007. It is one of six branches established by the Jebel Ali Village Nurseries.

The nursery has built up a good reputation over the last five years. Each nursery employs predominantly British and European trained teachers and also claims a low child to teacher ratio. Strong teacher parent relationships are encouraged by the group as a whole.

All Jebel Ali Village Nurseries follow a British, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Music and movement are also used to teach and encourage language and listening skills through rhythm, singing and playing instruments.

Jebel Ali Village Nursery Meadows is located at the Hayaa Health club and takes advantage of its facilities which include an air-conditioned sports hall, indoor play area, shaded swimming pool (there are two swimming sessions a week) and play park.

Fees are approximately 33,300 dhs per year, depending on how many days per week the child is enrolled (not including any additional fees). The school is open from 8am to 5:30pm Sundays through Thursday.

The nursery offers flexible hours to help meet the needs of each parent.

The buzz

Predominately very positive. Some parents have criticized the space and lack of natural light in the nursery, but the school makes use of the nearby park and in the summer the pool to give students time outside. The school’s teachers are very well liked, and the children themselves very happy. The teachers seem a satisfied and happy bunch.
