Indian School, Ajman

Indian School, Ajman is a private K-12 school located in Al Hamidiya. It currently serves more than 1500 students with over 100 members of staff, of which approximately 70 are teachers.

The school takes pride in keeping class sizes under 30 (with 27 said to be the average).

Indian School, Ajman follows the CBSE syllabus. Subjects taught in English and Arabic with secondary languages also on offer including Hindi and Malayalam.

The school does not publish, consistently, its results so an objective review of its performance is not possible. In 2011 (the school has not published later results), of the 17 who took the CBSE Grade 12 science stream exam, 14 secured a Distinction. The school did not publish what happened to its Commerce Stream.

A number of extra-curricular clubs are also setup and run by teachers including music club, art club, science club, literary club, environment club, art and home sciences club, sporting clubs and computer club.

Facilities include a library, computer science centre, science laboratories, music studio, playground, canteen, multipurpose hall and a medical room equipped with a doctor and full time nurse.

Fees for the school are estimated to range between 2,500 AED per year for KG students to 4,500 AED per year for grade 12 students.

In 2013 the school will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
