Far Eastern Private School

Far Eastern Private School, established in 2001, is located in Sharjah. Its curriculum is Philippines based, and is targeted principally at the Filipino community. The school currently offers education to over 2000 students.

The school claims to offer spacious, well-lit classrooms suitable for teaching, a medical clinic, an air-conditioned auditorium/function hall with state-of-the-art audio and video facilities, computer rooms, school libraries for both the girls and boys section, separate Physics/Chemistry and Biology Laboratory rooms with updated equipment, apparatus and supplies, prayer rooms, home economics/technology and livelihood education practice and lecture rooms, covered basketball court/playground and a child-friendly environment.

The school was inaugurated by His Excellency Amable Aguiluz III, the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Saqer bin Hamad Al Qassimi, the School Board, faculty and the students and the parents.

The school says it is committed to providing a holistic and inspiring environment, and claims to provide a developmental education and encourage the students to be the best that they can be. Feedback to WSA has been particularly mixed, with particular concerns expressed over teaching, progress and attainment.

The school does at least now have a web site – after a long time of being almost invisible online, providing some information to parents and prospective parents. We would like more data – on school fees, on academic performance, and on extra-curricular activities offered to students. Presently this much needed information is simply missing.

If you are the owner of the school and note any factual inaccuracies, or would like to update any information, please do not hesitate to contact us at editor@edu2021.com.
