Dawha School Sharjah

Dawha School Sharjah

Established in 1986, Sharjah based Dawha School  follows a U.S. curriculum leading to High School certification. As a U.S. school students also sit SATs.

The school boasts a 100% pass rate for TOEFL, certification for English as a foreign language. More loftily it also claims its students gain entrance into prestigious professional colleges and universities in the UAE and abroad.

Dawha School currently has a student population of 1950 students. It is a K-13 school. Average class sizes are said to be 25.

The school has recently become a candidate for the Advanced Accreditation Board, a voluntary method of quality assurance developed more than 100 years ago by American universities and secondary schools, and designed primarily to distinguish schools adhering to a set of educational standards.

The accreditation process is also known in terms of its ability to effectively drive student performance and continuous improvement in education.

The school does not publish its fees, or the performance of its students in external examinations. However the school does have an otherwise relatively informative web site, which may be found here.
